They don't have cashiers, I can never find anyone that actually knows where things are, but my biggest gripe is simply how Randalls conducts business. It started years ago with a phone number. I get the original price if I enter a phone number, the elevated price without. Sure. Then the whole coupon system I just don't understand. Why do I need an app to shop for groceries? My wife added several things to my cart. At checkout, I questioned the price of an item. I said excuse me, that is supposed to only cost this much...they responded OH, you have to buy that online for pick up. Why? really, why?. I called the corporate number and tried to explain my issues and was promised a return call. That never came. If Randalls doesn't care, why should I? I would rather buy from the store right in my neighborhood but have to drive 3 miles to do my grocery shopping. HEB does not require any of this nonsense to get the best price they can afford to sell at and still make a profit. UPDATE: The standard cut and paste response to this review was applied. I even saw an associate stocking the area and not checking the quality before putting out. Mistakes happen but I suggest a good cleaning and overhaul of the produce section. The tomato has been there a while for it to be in that condition.
