Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Marcella and Hannah are the managers on duty and the young woman who picked up the phone would not identify herself. The service at this location is regularly poor. The lines are long and slow, the second line is neglected, slower, and causes confusion; and you will guaranteed be waiting an unreasonable amount of time for less than fresh and hot food. This particular poor visit prompted me to write a review because I went seeking to purchase breakfast, as Whataburger advertises breakfast starting at 11 pm. I Arrived after 11pm, told breakfast was not available, ordered a meal other than my preference as I was already trapped in their endless line. Waited, waited, waited, and waited some more only to get the wrong/incomplete meal. Horrible service, rude/incompetent employees, and subpar food. I advise consumers to save their time and their money. This location is complete trash. I’m contacting the corporate office Monday morning, assuming they care. I certainly won’t be patronizing Whataburger again. It’s a shame how one location can ruin the reputation of an entire chain in a consumer’s mind.
