Coming to this location in the evenings after work is such a mistake. In the morning & lunchtime - they are fully stocked with everything they need and your meal will be amazing. At night? Not so much. They run out of popular items and make due… They really need to stop substituting things when they run out of originals without letting the customers know. This is the third time I’ve ordered from this store. And all three times, the staff substitutes the bread on the Bacon Turkey Bravo. Instead of Tomato Basil bread, I get something else that’s totally different in flavor & texture. I end up eating the ingredients without the bread. Then I notice how thin the tomato slices are & how it’s not really applewood smoked bacon being used. Instead of aged white cheddar, they use Swiss. The real Panera recipe & flavor combination is amazing. But I don’t trust this place to offer me the option of picking my replacements any more. “Sorry we are out of the tomato basil bread - do you have a bread type you would like instead?” Easy, right? Just be aware if you happen to order in the evenings while driving home from work or running errands.

We had our breakfast, totally loved it. The manager and staff was so friendly and welcoming. They offered us to try the cookies as well. Overall had a great positive experience. Thanks.

I have visited this Panera Bread on University many times before, and honestly, my past experiences at this location have not been very good. Because of that, today’s experience really stood out and felt important to share. I am a Sip Club member and have ordered from multiple Panera locations across Texas. Today, I didn’t realize that hot chocolate is not included in the Sip Club because it is considered a signature drink. When I went to the counter to explain and ask what options I could have, I was told no — which I understood and accepted. While I was at the counter trying to figure out what was included, a woman named Sonia stepped in, and she completely changed my experience. Sonia asked how I was doing, listened to what had happened, and kindly explained the rules to me. Without me asking for anything, she smiled and said, “Maybe I can make your day,” and offered to make me a hot chocolate anyway. She truly did not have to do that. What made this especially meaningful is that my voice is very hoarse and sore, and I needed something warm for my throat. I also can’t have too much coffee due to a stomach condition, so hot chocolate was the best option for me. Sonia didn’t know any of this — she simply chose kindness. She told me she hoped I’d feel better, and that small act meant more than she probably realizes. It was a genuinely kind, human moment. If you come to this location, I hope you have the chance to interact with Sonia. She is kind, compassionate, and a beautiful person. I don’t only write reviews when things go wrong — I write them when someone goes above and beyond, and today, Sonia absolutely did.

I’m a Sip Club member, so I visit Panera regularly and am very familiar with how the program works. Unfortunately, my experiences at the Prosper, Texas location have been consistently negative and disappointing. On my first visit to this location, I felt judged and discriminated against by one of the managers (there are two managers here, and I’m referring to the Black female manager). She repeatedly stared at me, questioned me as if I didn’t belong there, and acted as though I was lost or had no business being inside the store. I was waiting to order my Sip Club drink, and despite being a paying member, I was treated suspiciously. I was even accused of stealing a cup when I had brought my own cup in, which Sip Club members are allowed to do. I was forced to order another cup while being closely watched the entire time. It was extremely uncomfortable and unnecessary. On another visit, I attempted to use a reward for a free pastry that came with a purchase. The reward would not work at the kiosk, so I went to the counter for assistance. I stood there waiting for 5–6 minutes with no employee acknowledging me or offering help. When someone finally asked if I needed assistance, I was already frustrated and no longer wanted anything. I ended up leaving and going to Einstein Bros. Bagels instead. This has not been a one-time issue. The customer service at this location is consistently lacking, and the overall attitude toward customers feels very judgmental and unwelcoming. While the building itself is one of the nicest Panera locations I’ve seen, the atmosphere created by the staff completely ruins the experience. It feels as though you’re only welcome here if you look a certain way. Some days I come in dressed nicely, and other days I’m just grabbing coffee in sweats. Either way, customers should be treated with the same respect. No one should feel like they don’t belong based on appearance. I genuinely enjoy Panera Bread as a brand, which makes this even more disappointing. This particular location reflects poorly on Panera and is one I will actively avoid going forward due to how judgmental and unprofessional the staff has been
