Disorganized service, burnt food, and a drive-through that clearly isn’t being managed I stopped at this Dunkin’ on a Monday morning expecting the basics: fast drive-through service, an accurate order, and decent food. Instead, it turned into one of the most frustrating fast-food experiences I’ve had in a long time. The biggest issue is clearly staffing and organization. One employee appeared to be running the entire drive-through — taking orders, processing payments, and handing out food. I understand franchises try to control labor costs, but the drive-through is the backbone of a Dunkin’ location. When one person is juggling everything, mistakes are inevitable. At the speaker I had to repeat my order three separate times before it was entered correctly. Even then, the employee seemed distracted enough that I wasn’t confident the order would come out right. At the window, I was handed the payment terminal but the screen wasn’t tilted toward me. The sun was shining directly on it, so I couldn’t see anything — not the total, not whether there was a tip prompt, nothing. The employee just stood there staring as if I was supposed to guess what to do. Then the food hand-off started. Instead of putting the items into a proper bag, I was handed multiple tiny bags of donut holes individually through the window. I had to ask if everything could be placed in one bag since it was clearly a to-go order. The employee acted surprised by the request. After another wait, I was handed a bag and told “Thank you, sir.” Before driving off, I checked the bag — which turned out to be a good decision because the donut holes were missing entirely. They were still sitting on the counter. I honked and waved to get someone’s attention. The employee at the window actively avoided looking at me and eventually just walked away, which was honestly shocking. A few minutes later another worker noticed me pointing at the counter and called her back. She handed me the donut holes with a quick “sorry.” Unfortunately, the problems didn’t stop with the service. The stuffed bagel minis were burnt — dark brown and so hard on top they were almost impossible to bite. The cream cheese inside had clearly been overheated and was completely melted and rubbery, like cream cheese that has been aggressively microwaved. These were meant for kids. If I had handed them to my little one without checking, they could easily have burned their mouth. The bagels themselves were hard, chewy, and rubbery, clearly not fresh. Honestly, the bagels you buy at warehouse stores like Sam’s Club are noticeably better than what was served here. What makes this especially disappointing is that Dunkin’ used to represent consistency and quality. I say that as someone who spent 10 years working in Dunkin’ stores and grew up around a family that owned multiple locations in different states. This store in Princeton, Texas is also fairly new — less than two years old — which makes the situation even more concerning. This isn’t an aging location that slowly declined over decades. It’s a new store already showing serious operational problems. Opening a Dunkin’ is not the finish line for a franchise owner. It’s the beginning. A new store in a growing community has a real opportunity to build loyal customers, but that requires paying attention to service and food quality. Unfortunately, based on this experience — and the growing number of negative Google reviews — it doesn’t feel like anyone is paying attention here.

I ordered a mocha nut matcha and they didn’t even fill up the cup. The matcha was filled half way of the cup and chocolate cold foam on top. This is so disappointing. If we’re spending our money on drinks and food we expect it to be made the right way and we expect the amount we’re paying for. I could’ve paid for a small for this amount.

This Dunkin’ is, unfortunately, the closest one to my house—otherwise I’d gladly go anywhere else. Most visits feel like opening a box of chocolates, except every flavor is a different attitude problem. And I’m not ordering anything custom—just regular menu items—yet I still get the “How dare you order coffee at a coffee shop” vibe more often than not. To be fair, there are at least two employees who actually seem to want to be here, and they’re the only reason this place isn’t a complete disaster. But overall, customers shouldn’t have to gamble on whether basic courtesy is available, The staff on Sunday it on February 15th Made me finally want to write this review.
