I was really excited to bring my family from out of town to try this new Gatti’s, but the experience was disappointing. The dining area was messy, several tables were left uncleaned, and overall it didn’t feel well-maintained. The restrooms were gross. On top of that, the pizza selection was very limited during our visit. A clean and welcoming environment is the bare minimum for a restaurant, and unfortunately that wasn’t the case here. It made the whole experience feel uncomfortable and unappetizing. I hope management takes this seriously and improves cleanliness and service, because this location has a lot of potential. As it stands, I can’t say I’m satisfied with our visit. Never visiting this location again.

First time going. Great place. Friendly staff. Salad was fresh, baked potato was hot with all the trimmings. Great selection of hot pizza. Had a few, never fails, of customers lacking all social etiquette, but there is always a few. Resturant staff and food was great. Grandkids loved the games. Would highly recommend giving them a try.

I'm not one to leave negative reviews but this is one of them. The food was good however not only did I have to pay for the buffet but because I can't eat gluten they charged me another $13.99 for a small gluten free pizza. It cost me almost $30 to eat a few slices of pizza and a small salad. Every pizza buffet I've been to that offers gluten free options includes the gluten free option with the cost of the buffet and not as an extra cost. It's way too expensive for me to go to Gatti Town. I could've gotten a steak at another restaurant for that price. So if you can't eat gluten you may want to think about going someplace else unless you don't mind paying $30 to eat a small meal.

This is the 3rd time I have been and it seems to get worse every time. First time was during the lunch hour and food was hot and fresh. Second time a week or so later was around 530 pm and there were literally no pizzas on the buffet with about 20 people waiting for food. Had to wait about 30 mins and finally ask a manager if they were going to cook some pizzas. Third time tonight and there was pizza but it was all cold and not fresh and no baked potatoes during the dinner rush time. Bathroom had trash everywhere. Not impressed and don’t think I’ll be back for a fourth time. Only positive each time was at least the employees in the front are welcoming.

I was very disappointed with my recent visit to Gatti’s Pizza in Portland, TX. The restaurant was overcrowded but yet they just kept pulling customers in. Many tables were left dirty because there were not enough workers cleaning them. It was difficult to even find a place to sit. The floors were filthy. The lines for pizza were very long (20-25 people deep), and after waiting that long the food was just below average and not worth the price. The salad bar and sides sections are just as large as the pizza selection and hard to reach items in the very back row on the salad bar. To make matters worse, several employees behind the salad bar were openly talking negatively about other coworkers where customers could hear them. It felt very unprofessional and added to the overall poor experience. They also do not allow drinks in the game room area. But luckily they have a utility cart with 30 plus drinks left on it. Overall, the restaurant felt disorganized, understaffed, and poorly managed. We won’t be back, and I would strongly suggest passing on this location for future visits. Update: Corporate reached out and asked me to email them, which I did. - No Response. THIS tells you all you need to know.
