  Update: Just had it again right now and had to throw it away. Thanks to Uber Eats for providing a refund. The fried chicken tasted like it was cooked in a pan that hasn’t been washed in days. It was stale and bitter which probably means the oil was old and it honestly tasted like leftover chicken from days ago and not freshly fried. The biscuit was completely undercooked, with raw dough inside and felt like it was frozen store bought. Or in my son's words -"the biscuit was disgusting and had no honey". Btw, people can actually get sick eating raw dough like that. The fries were just as bad, super bitter and clearly fried in old oil. The mac and cheese tasted like boxed Kraft mac and cheese. Get out of here with that nonsense. You should be ashamed to serve food like this and call it halal. Permanently off my list. Old review: The chicken is halal and pretty tasty, though it was cooked in slightly old oil and saltier than I’d like. It’s not the highest quality chicken and it’s pretty expensive for gas station chicken but still cheaper than the place we normally go to for halal fried chicken. It’s good to have this option so close by, especially in Pflugerville which is lacking halal options. When I don’t feel like making the drive to Austin or Cedar Park, this will suffice. The convenience store itself has some interesting desi items and pizza as well.

  Man I love this chicken, it's so hard to find halal fried chicken 🍗 it reminds me of eastcoast corner store joints, little hidden gem in a gas station. And the gravy does NOT have pork! So wonderful!

  I'm a big foodie when it comes to halal food, and this is the best fast food chicken in Texas , or can compete with the best. I personally believe the owner should sell his gas station and invest it all into Krispy crunchy. It would be very successful inshaAllah. The biscuits have great flavor, but I would try to improve the texture if they can.

  Krispy Krunchy Chicken is one of the most underrated fried chicken chains. Don't let the fact that it's gas station food fool you. We first became acquainted with the one in Dripping Springs and finally gave this one a go tonight. Our family meal of chicken strips were cooked to order and everything was piping hot and crispy when we got home.

  Food is good but $3 minimum to use a debit card to pay? Pretty sure thats illegal. Went in there for my chicken. Dude forgot my sauce then tried to charge me for it. $1.08? I said fine let me pay so i can hurry up and get out of here. Go to pay with my debit card says no $3 minimum to use my debit card... wow
