Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
I arrived and a man in a blue shirt who was not friendly ignored me and sent another person who didn’t greet me either. Didn’t they teach them at home to greet people? He asked me, “Did you order already?” I said, “No, I’m trying to. Can you take my order?” Honestly, everyone there had a long face. If they don’t want to greet customers that’s their problem, but it’s part of customer service. They could work in a prison — they would be perfect there. They should close that store or change the staff.

Got off work late and decided to grab a burger on my way home. I pulled into the drive thru and waited about 5 min with no reply from someone to take my order so I pulled ahead and there was car in line. I could see people inside and they were just on their phones. (First time at this location.) After waiting a few minutes I decided to reverse and someone actually took my order! She was pleasant and quick also repeated my order to make sure it was correct so kudos to her. However when I got to the second window my stomach dropped a bit. The lady at the fryer was using her phone with gloves on. She proceeded to put her phone down at the work station and didn't change gloves or anything when handling fries, or hashbrowns for another order. This made me question if going to this location was the right call. The burger was good the fries....well idk I decided to be safe and not eat them which stinks when you pay for them but it was late and I just wanted to get home.

4:40 pm Tuesday, the place empty as always, order a hot coffee and they say they don't have any, I ask if it takes too long to make and the guy says making a whole pot would be too much. -_- fr. Whataburger only benefit is you can get coffee at any time. Lanta

read to the end I still wouldn't go here because it is too expensive and plus behind that there are too much going on. People don't understand nothing that you were doing or whatever you are ordering. I like the idea that they are there but no I'm not going to do it
