I arrived around 530pm on a Thursday & was greeted at the door by welcoming staff, then seated immediately. A friendly waitress named Antoinette came to introduce herself & take my drink order then my meal request. I told her I'm from California & I wanted a great Texas steak. After suggesting a Grilled pineapple margarita, she helped me choose a medium/well ribeye steak. Everything came out quickly & DELICIOUS!! Antoinette was very attentive & closely checked on me for any further requests. I just needed some to-go plates bcuz I ordered way too much food. I packed up my leftovers, paid my bill & made sure to wave goodbye to my server as I left. You guys were awesome! I WILL ABSOLUTELY BE BACK!!
I usually have a great experience at Saltgrass, especially at this location, which is why this visit was really disappointing. We’ve come here multiple times before and the food and service are normally great.
The food this time was still really good, but the service from our waiter, Gabriel, was not. He barely checked on our table the entire time. We never received the bread that normally comes out, and we had to ask other servers for help just to get refills and eventually our check.
The most upsetting part of the experience was how Gabriel spoke to us. At one point he told someone in our group that if we “didn’t have money, we shouldn’t go out to eat,” which basically amounted to calling us broke. The way he said it felt very disrespectful and honestly discriminatory toward our group.
We’ve always enjoyed coming here and normally have a good experience, which is why this visit stood out so much. The food was good, but the service and the way we were spoken to made the night really uncomfortable.
I had a mixed experience at Saltgrass. The food was actually pretty good and came out the way we expected, so no complaints there. However, the service really brought the experience down. Our server, Gabriel, made an inappropriate comment telling us that if we were broke, we shouldn’t go out to eat. That was unprofessional and honestly unnecessary.
Good food, but the service needs improvement.

I am writing to share my recent experience at Salt Grass Steak House. Initially, my wife and I had a very poor experience on February 28, 2026, with our server, Andre. Between unfilled drinks and a salad that didn't arrive until the check was presented—despite two reminders—we were disappointed. When I voiced these concerns, Andre's response was simply, "Sorry you feel that way," which led us to believe we would not return.
However, after speaking with Candice, the manager, our perspective changed. She was genuinely committed to winning us back and invited us to return. During our follow-up visit, she seated us with Shawn, who was exceptional. Shawn was friendly, professional, and clearly on his "A" game.
Thanks to the efforts of Candice and Shawn, Salt Grass has regained us as customers. Your company is fortunate to have them on your team.
The food was ok. We had sirloin steak and shrimp. The steaks thickness was not consistent, so half the steak was red and chewy, the other half was light pink and dry, totally charred on the outside. The Garlic butter on our steaks didn't even melt. One of my grilled shrimp was cool on the inside, so I stopped eating shrimp for the evening.
The salad and baked potatoes were perfect.
The waiter didn't really listen well. He wasn't around much.
From walking in to walking out we spent 2 hours there.
I won't be going back, been there, done that, now I know.
