Thanks, Agape, for being the best waiter. Thanks for helping me decide what I could eat as a dairy/meat free person. You went above and beyond to assist me. The food was amazing and the service was wonderful. We will return.
We had such a wonderful experience at grand dhaba! Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious full of rich, authentic Punjabi flavors that truly stood out. You can really tell the food is made with care and tradition. The service was just as impressive. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for genuine Punjabi cuisine and warm hospitality. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Everything was delicious, chicken korma, butter chicken, and tandoori... we all enjoyed our meals a lot! Serving sizes could be a little bigger for the price but it was great.

I went to Grand Dhaba with high expectations with my family, but this was honestly a very disappointing experience.
We opted for the buffet, and the food was below than the below average; so much so that we could barely finish what we had already taken on our plates. Not wanting to waste food, we politely asked if we could pack the leftovers from our own plates (not take more from the buffet), and were told no. We had already paid, and we were completely fine packing it in front of the server but still denied. That didn’t make sense at all. But in hindsight, that refusal was actually a blessing in disguise. Within 2 hours, I started experiencing food poisoning symptoms, and it only got worse the next day. My brother-in-law also fell sick, and my sister had mild symptoms (she barely ate). The food we ordered separately from the menu, to be precise, dal makhani, which we did take it to-go. We had to throw it away because we were too sick to even think about eating it. So no, this review is not about being denied takeout from the buffet but, it’s about food quality and safety. Because if we had taken that food home and eaten more of it later, things could have been even worse. I’m honestly surprised by the positive reviews. Our experience was the complete opposite which was filled with the poor taste, questionable quality, and a terrible aftermath. Would not recommend this place at all. Weekend wasted feeling sick from this food.

We drove about 40 minutes with a lot of excitement to try authentic North Indian and Punjabi food—especially since I’m Punjabi myself.
To start with, the buffet spread wasn’t very extensive and had limited options. That said, we were already aware of this, so it wasn’t a surprise. However, I did feel that many of the dishes were quite heavy on oil and salt, which affected the overall taste.
One pleasant surprise was the biryani—it was actually very good, which I didn’t expect from a North Indian-focused restaurant. The kheer was also tasty, though a bit too sweet for my preference. The chai was just average.
The ambiance is fairly average but clean, and the setup is decent. The bhatura was fresh, which I appreciated. However, the service could have been better—the attendant forgot to bring another bhatura even after we requested it twice. I think maybe À la Carte would have been better .
Overall, the experience was average. It’s not a bad place, but it’s not outstanding either.
