It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Went inside and waited another 5 then just got a ranch some guy didn’t end up finding another 5 mins so 50 mins total
- RRRicoDec 30, 20251.0Waiting in the drive thru for almost 30 minutes when there’s only one other car in line is unacceptable especially when you have most of the employees on their phones and walking around doing nothing and food was cold fries was inedible and almost forgot my drink yet again until I had to remind them I had a drink and when I got home my drink which was supposed to be a sprite had no flavor and basically was water
- CCCARiviMe08Dec 30, 20251.0Upon arriving through the drive-thru, we were given a nasty attitude from the person talking to us through the speaker asking for our order. We wanted a Patty Melt, 3 chicken strips a drink and a Cobb salad /w crispy chicken. Waited 30 minutes the employees wasn’t attempting to make the food provided they was on their phones talking and laughing. Once we got the bag, the patty melt wasn’t even warm and fries were cold and hard. The saving grace was the chicken strips, but to sit in line for half an hour only to receive that type of service that’s sad. Definitely won’t be returning anytime soon.
- BLBeth LongDec 29, 20251.0Sadly this location is having growing pains. More than one occasion they have gotten part of the order wrong. Yes, we tried them more than once hoping for improvement. Today they wiped the mustard off the burger forgot to put the correct sauce on it and gave it to us in that condition. Save your time and your money and go elsewhere!

The floors unswept and obviously not mopped for days and the bathroom…I don’t think they had been cleaned since it opened. The toilet paper rolls were not in the holders, instead you had to pick up large roll to use. The urinals were filthy as well as the walls around them. The worst part is there were 4 workers just sitting at tables chitchatting (loudly), when they could have been taking care of the cleanliness.
