Our True Texas BBQ restaurant and drive-thru opened on 11/2/22 in Plano at the southwest corner of Preston and Spring Creek. True Texas BBQ is slow smoked in-house for fourteen hours over natural hardwood, and it's darn delicious. So much so, it was named Best BBQ Chain in Texas as recognized by Texas Monthly. - ABAlex ByronNov 27, 20255.0This is the second year in a row that we bought brisket and a whole bunch of sides for Thanksgiving. Courtney has been there both years and is so on top of it. She even remembers us and our orders by name. Great customer service, they triple check that you have everything before they send you off. It's an efficient machine in there on Thanksgiving. We love it! Courtney is awesome.

Brisket nachos and baked potato. I will come back and try the sandwiches next time. I had no idea there was a drive through until this week. I will be back thank you for great customer service and very good bbq. Happy thanksgiving.

I get there to only be told that they are all sold out of meat... than I spend 30 min waiting for a refund that take literally 30 min!!! Because they have to enter everything one by one because they apparently dont have a better system to refund, and they cabt update their app to show items out of stock im time! All around horrible! After all that just time wasted and no kind of compensation is ridiculous!
- VVVeroNov 21, 20251.0I have been calling since 11/18 at 9 am to place an order for Thanksgiving and on the 18th I was told I would get a call back by that evening from the Manager to place my order and I was given the manager‘s cell phone number and told to give him a call or text him on his direct cell phone. I asked what time did they close so I can make sure I get a call back prior to them closing and was told they closed at 9 PM. I said I did not want to call or text the manager on his personal cell phone and would call back the next day if I didn’t hear from anyone. I called back on the 19th and was told the manager will be calling people back that afternoon. I still don’t get a call. I called on the 20th and again told the manager will be calling people back that afternoon. I finally decided to text the manager on the 20th about my order and he said “I will be in tomorrow to be able to take your order”. It is now the 21st and I still haven’t heard back so I called the restaurant and told they are no longer taking orders. This is horrible! Instead of giving me the runaround, this could’ve been told to me back on the 18th!
- DBDr. BrentNov 20, 20253.0We have been to the HEB bbq at another location which was clean and nice. At 215pm on a Thursday more than half the tables were open and all of them dirty and sticky. The sliced Brisket and burnt ends were very good. The slaw and potato salad not my favorite. The only bbq sauce they offered me had a really bad flavor. I will not be back to this location.
