After a 14-hour workday, I stopped at this Subway out of pure necessity. To be honest, I had pretty much given up on Subway in general—not this specific location, but the brand overall—because customer service and product quality just haven’t been what they used to be.
Miguel completely changed that for me.
This was hands down the best customer service I’ve had at any restaurant in a very long time. Miguel was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about the food he was making—like he was making it for himself, not just throwing something together.
The portions were perfect, the quality was excellent, and the whole experience felt intentional and professional.
Even better? I was in and out in under four minutes with three subs for my family. Fast and exceptional—that’s rare these days.
Miguel deserves real recognition from management and ownership. He is exactly the kind of person you want as the face of your company.
And for context: this is coming from someone who spent over 20 years in the restaurant industry, from fast food to mid-level to high-end dining. I know great service when I see it.
Hats off, Miguel. Keep killing it, brother. 👏

The guy was not at all experienced to wrap subs. All sauce came out as soon I unwrapped it. People have done better than this

This location is the finest example of the failure of the city of Planos health and safety inspector. You walk into the store and the lettuce is visibly old and did not look like something a person should consume.
When asking the person making the sandwich to please get some fresh lettuce. The response was we don’t have anymore lettuce with an attitude.
So we got it without lettuce as we sit there and eat the same person goes to the back and gets more lettuce and puts it out however this lettuce is also the same quality as what’s already in it. If this is ok and his is the level of cleanliness they are to follow this is the last time my family goes to a Subway.

My visit to Subway was alright overall. The food was not bad — fresh ingredients and the sandwich turned out decent in the end. The restaurant itself was clean and organized, which I appreciated.
The only downside was that the lady working there didn’t really seem to know what she was doing, so I ended up standing there ordering for about five minutes while she tried to figure things out. It wasn’t a big deal, but it did slow things down a bit.
Other than that, it was a solid experience. Clean place, decent food, just could use a little more efficiency at the counter.
