  Ordered to-go. The food was ready when I arrived. The wait staff was cordial. The portions were large - chicken, rib combo with an add-on of the shrimp poppers. The shrimp poppers came with fried onion strings. It was a meal by itself. The poppers and onion strings were filling. The pairing of jalapeño, large shrimp and cream cheese was not the best, one ingredient too many. I could not tast the jumbo shrimp - good try. Everything else was delicious, including the salad and loaded potato with sour cream. The portions are large. The meal could have fed 3 people. The ribs were meaty and plentiful. The chicken breast was large and juicy. Ohhh, so I forgot the loaf of bread and butter. The decor is country rustic. There did not appear to be a waiting line but the restaurant was full. I'll be back to try some of the other menu items. There was parking up front in the to-go section.

  We came in with our family for Christmas dinner and had an excellent experience thanks to our server, Cristian. He was extremely attentive with a great outgoing personality and made us feel very welcome. He was engaging without being overbearing, our order came out perfectly, and despite how busy the restaurant was, he never once seemed frazzled. He truly helped make our Christmas dinner enjoyable. Thank you, Cristian!

  Great meal and service considering we had a large group (30+). We had a separate room that was fully sufficient for the number of people we had. We had chips and queso and shrimp jalapeño poppers for appetizers, both were fabulous (highly recommend). My steak and shrimp was perfectly prepared and delicious. I had enjoyed enough appetizers that I was full halfway through my meal and had half to take home and enjoy the next day! Delicious!

  My husband and his coworkers visited this restaurant for lunch. Although they all ordered the same meal, the portion he received was noticeably smaller than everyone else’s. He is not someone who becomes upset easily, but the experience made him feel as though he was being discriminated against, as his coworkers are of a different race. When he brought the issue to the waiter’s attention, the response felt more like a series of excuses rather than an effort to resolve the matter. We expected that a manager would be involved to address the situation appropriately, but that did not occur. We are not the type of people to immediately assume discrimination; however, we can recognize when something does not feel right. Overall, the customer service was extremely disappointing.
