  Just disappointing for the cost. Presentation, flavor, etc was below par. Definitely the more casual, lower quality version of the Del Frisco brand. Our $90 steak was not at the quality you’d expect for the price point, sides are small. If you are looking for a nice dinner, the Del Frisco Double Eagle or the Capital Grille are right across the way and are significantly better.

  I took my wife here for Valentine’s Day and ask for their valentine special menu. The service was poor and speedy. I felt like we were being rushed, but what can you expect from southlake if you’re not white. The New York strip steak was more fatty than anything else. So much so my wife almost vomited from the over chewing. The steak was made medium just to let you know. We also got the lobster Mac and cheese with no trace of cheese and barely any lobster. As soon as we received our food 5 minutes later the waiter ask us if we need boxes. Like why would we need boxes 5 minutes into the meal?? When we did ask for the boxes, the waiter brought them to us and laid them on the table. I do remember the last time I came here the food was boxed up for me. The bill came out to $300… and for what? Bad service, mediocre food, and cocktails that are way too sweet.

  I've been to Del Frisco's a few times not this location but nonetheless Del Frisco's and it's always been really good. Unfortunately, last night our meal was just not good. First we ordered the calamari and that was just soggy because of how much teriyaki and seasoning they use on their calamari cool we sent it back and that was that then we ordered the Spanish octopus instead and honestly, that was very chewy very burnt and just really didn't have much flavor like it should. But I didn't wanna be one of those patrons and send everything back so we just tried to eat it. Disgusting damn we got steaks, mashed potatoes and broccolini and when I tell you even with the truffle butter on the steak there was literally no flavor. I had to ask for salt and pepper because it was literally just tasteless. Yeah sometimes you have to put a little seasoning to enhance the flavor, but this literally had no flavor. It all tasted like oil. I don't know if they don't have good truffle butter or what it was, but it just wasn't good. Plus, the truffle butter came completely melted. Usually it's like a little topper on your steak. Our waiter was new so he wasn't the worst but he also wasn't the best. Definitely shouldn't be taking as long as he did between checking on us and then the food took forever and for it to not even really be packed like that or for the food to be good is crazy. The one thing I did think was decent was the Caesar salad, but who can mess up a Caesar salad. I don't think I'll be back to this location because it left a bad taste in my mouth about Del Frisco's.

  This was our first time dining here and I was so excited! The food and atmosphere were 10/10 but what really sold me was the hospitality. From the host ,to the server, to watching the manager help out as if he was waiting tables himself, I couldn’t help but think how much more pleasant my serving days would have been had I had a team to work with like this. Shannon, thank you for making our night so special and helping with food suggestions & for your undivided attention amongst waiting on other tables. I wish you so much luck in college. Terry, I commend your leadership skills. You are clearly a GM for a reason. It was a pleasure to meet you both.

  My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here. When we got to our table there was a personal card that the staff had signed to celebrate us. We thought that was very nice. The atmosphere was perfect for the occasion. Service was excellent. Michael answered all our questions and made sure our occasion was special. The food was incredible. I gave it five stars but personally some of the items were a little salty (for me), but I personally have sensitivity to some things. My husband gave everything five stars. We will definitely go back! If you've not tried it, you absolutely should. It was a wonderful experience!
