My experience here was okay. I came here for date night with my husband (Feb 13). My braised short rib was bland and lacked flavor, I do not recommend it. My husband’s Prime strip was tasty though. Ceasar salad was subpar, and the Thai chili Shrimp was great. I will say that my server Leah was attentive, however, I don’t like that she was argumentative about the wine menu. I am very aware that your menus change based on location. I asked her for the “Moscato D’asti” (FONTANAFREDDA, "BRICCOTONDO," MOSCATO D'ASTI, PIEDMONT, ITALY). She initially shut me down and said “We don’t have a Moscato”. I am aware that it is not a traditional Moscato, hence the name D’asti, but it is a sparkling wine. It was almost if she didn’t want to read the menu and was trying to justify her knowledge when clearly the damn bottle reads “Moscato D’asti”. I let it slide because I honestly wanted a relaxing evening and I didn’t feel like going back and forth with her. I just pretended like I didn’t know what the difference was so she could bring me what I wanted. I was very annoyed towards the end of our dinner. She seemed nice but in customer service it can always be a façade. We tried to make light of the situation and even get to know her but she literally walked away during our conversation with her. I chalked it up to her being younger and lacking in people skills. There’s a slim chance of us coming back here.

We celebrated Maria’s birthday and Valentine’s Day at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle, and it was an unforgettable night from start to finish. Maria began with the sushi, and I had the Caesar salad—both excellent. We shared the whipped potatoes and truffle fries, which were incredible. Maria’s surf & turf was cooked perfectly, and I ordered the tomahawk steak. The char on the tomahawk, combined with the garlic butter, was absolutely phenomenal—rich, flavorful, and easily one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. We paired everything with a bottle of Louis M. Martini “The Gryphon” Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, which was smooth, bold, and complemented the meal perfectly. To finish the night, we had coffee along with the lemon cake and butter cake with caramel drizzle and ice cream—both outstanding. But the true star of the night was our server, Gabby. She was, without question, the best server we’ve ever had anywhere. Her timing was flawless, she was attentive without ever hovering, incredibly warm, and made Maria feel genuinely special on her birthday. She elevated the entire experience and made the night feel personal and memorable. Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, and world-class service. We will absolutely be back—and we’ll be asking for Gabby.
