Chipotle is typically a go-to for a quick and satisfying meal, but unfortunately, this location falls short in some key areas. The biggest disappointment is the meat and tortillas, which are crucial components of any burrito. The meat is often lukewarm, bordering on cold, and lacks flavor. The tortillas, on the other hand, are consistently chewy, which detracts from the overall experience.
This is single-handedly the worst Chipotle I’ve ever been to, and after this experience, I’d seriously think twice about coming here. The entire visit was frustrating from start to finish.
First off, sometimes the AC unit drips water randomly onto customers — which is incredibly annoying. Second, the employees seem like they absolutely hate their jobs. I showed up right at 10:45 a.m., the time they’re supposed to open, but every door was locked. Strangely, there was already a guy inside ordering food while the rest of us were waiting outside. They didn’t unlock the doors until 11:00, which is 15 minutes after opening time, and that’s already a bad sign.
When I finally got in, I saw the manager sticking a thermometer into food even though they were already open, which made me question how ready they actually were to serve customers. The employees acted annoyed that I was even there, and the food I got tasted a little off — not terrible, but definitely not fresh. The water from the soda fountain tasted awful, almost toxic, like it hasn’t been cleaned or serviced in ages.
A couple of hours after eating, I started feeling sick, got a massive headache, and ended up throwing up — I’m almost certain it was food poisoning. Between the careless service, poor sanitation, and overall attitude, this was by far the worst Chipotle experience I’ve ever had. One star.
