- CKChristine KehrNov 16, 20255.0Burnt has really good brisket. We ordered 1 pound of the “coffee grind smoked brisket” to go. Our options were fatty and mixed. We chose fatty. The next time we will order mixed because if was a lot of fat. Our order came with a side of Texas toast. The toast was really good too. Things have changed since our first visit. The restaurant is now open Sundays. Thank goodness. And the restaurant never runs out of brisket. Thank goodness for that too. Another new item on the menu (or new to us) is the Taste of Venezuela. We were told the owner’s wife is from Venezuela. The owner’s mother-in-law makes the Arepas. Highly recommend for some very good BBQ. I should also mention that the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The quality of the food seems to have gone down in the past year because the Mac and cheese was not as creamy or flavorful as it has been in the past. I was incredibly disappointed. Additionally, there were no pickles or onions served with them.
