Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- AWAshlan WindorskiApr 2, 20261.0I waited 30 minutes for a small shake and a medium fry. Was met at the counter with an attitude from who I assume was the manager since he was dressed in a grey shirt. He was irritated already when I said I hadn’t received my food, then brought a shake no lid on it set it in front of me, and a bag of onion rings… Number One: who ordered these onion rings. Second of all he walked around the counter and went to grab a lid, and with the same greasy glove placed it on top of my cup making sure his whole hand touched the top. They also apparently ran out of cookies and provided my sister a frozen cookie… this by far is the worst whataburger. The manager is awful, the crew is doing their best. They also do not have regular ketchup, he said they were out of lids behind the counter, a told the lady after my shake no more?
