When I asked for a receipt, she initially claimed they don’t print them—but later returned with a printed copy, which I knew was possible since they use Toast (a system I’m familiar with). When I pointed out the issue to another staff member, they offered to call a manager. But before that could happen, Shawna pulled money from her own tip jar to reimburse me. That alone raised concerns. From the start, her energy felt off—she grabbed my card quickly and the only time we saw the screen was when it was time to leave a tip. She also told people in my group they could leave their leftover pizza and toys at the table and she’d keep them behind the bar. But as we were leaving, we found out she had just thrown everything away.
