Ran in the night before Easter and it was pouring. Everyone was at the cake counter, but the staff had gone home for the night. A lovely gentlemen manager came over with a smile, apologized, joked with us he doesn’t write well on cakes and nicely helped all 10 of us in line! He stepped away from his other duties when he saw a need and we’re so grateful!

7:30 on a Sunday night. Shelves were bare, like a hurricane was coming. Slim pickings. The bagger told me they’re keeping stock low (running down inventory) because they’re about to do inventory. What a ridiculous, shortsighted rationale and business decision. God forbid you all have to count more stuff in order to provide for your customers.

Review for crawfish only: inconsistent. I’ve gotten crawfish here a couple of times and had a good first experience. I went a couple times afterwards and it has not been the same. The crawfish is too salty and includes lots of claws/dead crawfish. I would say try at your own risk or spend a few extra dollars on a legitimate crawfish place.

Don't use your debit card at pump 5 at the HEB fuel center or else that pump gonna lock your debit card after you insert it. The kiosk wouldn't allow me to enter my debit card number and I had trouble cancelling my transaction and retrieving my debit card. The clerk had to shut the power off on that pump, come outside of his booth, and used some vice grips to pull my debit card out of the machine almost damaging my debit card in the process. Pay at the booth instead.

HEB needs to teach their sackers and cashiers how to bag groceries. I put my products on the conveyor belt so that I would assume will be bagged together appropriately. Tell me why the products I put first being the heavy stuff ends up with the lightweight stuff. Bread or produce are in the same bag with canned goods and raw meat is with cooked food or cooked hot food like rotisserie chicken. Then they stuff the bags so full, they don't double bag it.
