Asked for mild spice for the biriyani that I ordered. Was masala explosion with spice max. Only focusing on people from Some part of Nepal whi knows where or India who eats a lot of spice. Not for average American or Indian. Couldn't finish food due to spice explosion. When a customer means mild, its means Mild NOT spice max.

This is an honest review as this is not richly layered, authentically flavored Indian food. I came here for my birthday today. I wanted Indian food and love Kaahari Boys in Sugarland, but I live in Pearland and wanted something close. The reviews totally deceived me. My husband spent $100 dollars to get home and throw all the food away. Nothing was good. This restaurant may very easily pay for positive reviews, because there is no way folks taste buds could be so far off to think this is the best Indian food they've ever had. I hardly ever leave negative reviews when visiting new restaurants. However, the reviews are completely off and I had to make sure others get a REAL review from someone with a refined palette. I know good food and I know terrible food. Do not waste your time or money.

I’ll admit that I’m leaving this review incredibly late as my experience was from 2024, but due to the severity of my family and I’s dine in experience, I feel it’s only right to share. While I cannot prove the restaurant staff acted with racial bias, I must say that what we endured surely felt that way. Upon entering, there were only a few families already inside to which they were consuming their meals. My family and I placed our orders and waited patiently. Two families came in after us, an elderly caucasian couple and then a larger family of Indian decent. While waiting, the larger family ordered and their food came out almost immediately which we thought was very odd. However, we tried giving things the benefit of the doubt that maybe the family called ahead. With that being said, the elderly couple then received their food prior to a single dish making it to our table, the only thing we had received were drinks. Obviously this was upsetting, so I asked to speak to the manager to which his rebuttal was that the larger family are regulars, but regulars or not… all customers should be serviced in the order in which they arrive if the kitchen is prioritizing fairly and logically. After communicating our thoughts and concerns, there was not much of an apology nor genuine acknowledgment, so we paid for our drinks and decided to dine elsewhere. I love trying and experiencing food from different cultures and as someone who loves Indian food, this experience was extremely disheartening.
