They absolutely must dip it all the way down to where it touches the cone or else it's going to leak ALL OVER YOUR HAND while you're driving. The ice cream at the bottom where it meets the cone needs to be covered up completely so that it doesn't melt and leak all over the place. The last gal argued with me, telling me I was wrong... In my opinion, there's a right way and a wrong way, so it's not worth it to me to go here again. Google a picture of a dipped cone and you'll see that I'm right. Writing this months later and I'm still bothered by how I was treated.
