Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The kitchen was clean and well managed as well as the staff being patient with us. (We placed our dog in a corner on her mat... she 's exceptionally well trained/behaved). The food was better than we expected.

He asked me if I wanted a Whataburger today and I said “I confess I’ve never been to Whataburger before what is that.” He was so patient and articulate and kind. I got my plain old cheeseburger with ketchup and a side of onion rings with zero trouble. I did let Stephen know I don’t hear so well so it could be an issue. I paid he handed me my cup and by the time I was putting my lid on my drink there was Stephen being sure I had my order even with ketchup. Thank you for a great first time experience and a really good meal. I’m not easy to impress…I’m impressed.
