  The Prime Rib I ordered was flavorless and not good at all, however, our waiter Christina gave us exceptional service. Although Christina wasn't the cook she kindly and patiently returned the food to ensure it was cooked better. Rare to see such hard working individuals.

  During our work trip we went there twice as a group for dinner. Great food, and service. We sat in the bar at tabletop, watched hockey and baseball. If you go, you have to try the flash fried green beans and the asparagus. They were the best! Salads were outstanding!

  I’m an Uber driver traveling all across Texas, delivering food to people’s doorsteps, and I meet a lot of people along the way… but every once in a while, someone stands out—and Nick at Saltgrass Steakhouse is one of those people. This young man didn’t just do his job—he went above and beyond in a way you don’t see often anymore. He helped me carry a large order all the way to my car without hesitation, and on top of that, he offered me a drink out of pure kindness. That may seem small to some, but when you’re out on the road working long hours, it means everything. He even went out of his way to make sure the customer was fully taken care of—grabbing bread and butter that they had requested through the app without me even having to ask twice. That kind of attentiveness is rare. What really stuck with me was his heart. We shared a genuine conversation, and you could feel the compassion and respect he carries. It wasn’t rushed, it wasn’t forced—it was real. Because of Nick, I’m not just passing through anymore—I’m a forever customer of Saltgrass Steakhouse. Kindness like that deserves to be recognized. Thank you, Nick, for reminding me that good people are still out here shining. 🙏

  The server Kim was the best we ever had there. She made sure that our queso was hotter than they usually being out. She was jolly on the spot checking on us and making sure everything was good. She refreshed our drinks without us have to ask. Even brought me a fresh coke which is outstanding because they go flat. My 87 year old aunt was so impressed with her with asking and doing. The 5 years my aunt has lived in Texas she has never had service like that. I love how the front hostess I don't know her name but she remembers us and what booth we like. Julio the manager on duty today is very friendly and remembers my aunt and I. The food was cooked as prepared today whoever was cooking needs to be scheduled when we come in. Just playing.

  Surprised to be able to get a reservation one hour before opening on Easter Sunday! The bussers were quick with drinks as soon as we sat down and gave us the name of our server and said she would be along shortly and the managers Chris and Julio checked in with us before, during, and after our meal. Amber provided great service, the food was on point and was brought out to the table quickly. I have never had a bad experience at Saltgrass in Odessa but I did anticipate such wonderful service on such a popular day to eat out. Thanks to all of you for showing up and being so wonderful!
