First off, I am an avid Sonic patron, so I have no hate towards Sonic, just this location. Employees at this location do not know how to count change, or they are willfully stealing from customers. The first time, I assumed it was an “accident”, when I was short $5, but it’s happened numerous times now. And when you ask where the rest of your change is, they act like they do not know what you’re talking about, or all a sudden do not speak English well enough to understand you (even though they seemed to speak fine English 1 minute prior). It’s happened enough times now, I refuse to use cash there, card only. Well, the card readers are also broken at most of the stalls, requiring the employees to go inside to run your cards. Coincidental or just a run down location? Please be vigilant and make sure you get and check your receipts, since honesty does not seem to be a company requirement at this location. Also…they won’t drop fresh food in the fryer for you. They will re-dunk food in the fryer that’s been sitting under the heat lamp awhile, to make it appear as if it’s fresh. So be mindful of that as well.

Okay, I know Odessa is pretty isolated, but for someone who travels for a living and always orders his burgers plain, this is the first time I have ever been to a place that considers plain to mean something different than meat and cheese only. You should be aware that if/when you have customers from out of town, everywhere else considers plain to mean no veggies and no sauce. And where dry to you means no sauce, to me it means your burgers have no flavor, which isn't far from the truth, I get that. For anyone not from Odessa who, like me, likes to order your burgers "plain", be sure to specify you also do not want sauces, or you'll end up sending your burger back to get corrected 🤪🤯

Arrived around 4:05, didn’t get our drinks till about 4:45. Mind you, ordered 2 drinks. One small and one medium. After waiting for about 40 minutes, they looked at us clueless and handed us 2 small drinks. Not only was the service terrible, but the order was wrong. I find it crazy how you mess up an order of just 2 drinks. PAID $8.00 and even tipped, and for what. Genuinely what is the problem.
