Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This Whataburger is consistently slow. Guy who typically worked the window at night usually has an attitude, and I just sat in the drive thru for 40+ minutes with only a handful of vehicles in front of me to be shittily told the system just went down for their daily update and I’m just gonna have to wait longer, then had the window slammed shut.

⚠️ SERVED RAW CHICKEN⚠️
Me and my fiancé came here today 12/16/2025 at 3:15PM we went through the drive through and I ordered a bbq chicken sandwich he ordered food as well. They had us pull up we waited 12 minutes while they finished making the food. We got our food headed home 5 minutes away and started eating. Little did I know my chicken was RAW 😭 I didn’t realize till I was eating it and took about 5 bites. Then throwing up. WHO EXPECTS TO BE SERVED RAW CHICKEN. !!! Anyways I took my sandwich back to the whataburger showed Brandon the GM and he gave me a refund. He offered to remake it but since I have thrown up and starting feeling ill I declined. He let me know someone will reach out to me but no one has yet and this is serious!! To say the least I’m now at urgent care at 6:12PM Because I’m continuing throwing up and more symptoms I won’t disclose. I have attached picture I took at home as well as when I went back to the whataburger. I did NOT need this…. Especially right before the holidays.

Came here last night, and man do i regret it. The cashier, didn't listen too well, and put my order in wrong. Then after i got my food, and got home, i realized that the food i paid for, i didn't receive. My food was cold when i got home, (i live 4 minutes away from here). Very disappointing. Only good thing about my trip here was that i received my food quick. Dont think ill be coming back to this location.
