    Avoid this Sonic like the plague. DATE: 2/15/25 7:25pm. The service my family received at the Sonic on Davis Street (6724 Davis) was absolutely terrible and completely ruined what was supposed to be a celebration for my daughter and her volleyball team. We went through the drive‑thru on Sunday after her team’s victory. We pulled up and sat there for several minutes with no greeting, no “we’ll be right with you,” nothing. Because there was ZERO answer, we then drove to the pickup window and could clearly see two employees inside, but neither acknowledged us. I finally waved to one of them and asked “Hey, are you open for the drive‑thru?” She silently pointed to the other girl, who then snapped, “What do you want?” I replied, “Are you guys open for drive‑thru?” and she said, “There’s only two of us, so you’re just going to have to wait.” I was stunned. I explained that we had already been waiting and asked how much longer it might be. Her response: “Oh, well, whenever we’re done.” I told her I didn’t want to wait any longer, and she replied, “Well then I’m sorry, I can’t help you,” and closed the window on us. This kind of attitude and complete lack of basic customer service is outrageous. If the issue is that Sonic only scheduled two people to work, then shame on Sonic for putting them and their customers in that position. If it’s not a staffing issue, then it’s purely bad training and worse attitude. Either way, it’s pathetic and unacceptable. I was once in the food business and that kind of behavior, especially from a customer facing individual is SHOCKING. No wonder this location only has 2.3 Stars on YELP. I’m shocked it’s even a 3 on Google. The positive reviews must be fabricated LOL! The lady taking orders tonight needs to be trained and or HELPED. Again unacceptable and ruined my 13 year old’s celebration. What should have been a fun, simple stop to celebrate a win turned into a really sour experience. So much for shakes, Ocean water’s, burgers and fries. I would strongly recommend avoiding this Sonic location at all costs! Seriously save yourself frustration and go somewhere else to spend your HARD EARNED money. It’s not worth it here.
