Tonight, I was feeling nostalgic and decided to go to Subway because me and my mother, who passed away two years ago, often did this.. I just moved to the area of new Caney and found the subway here located in the same parking lot as food town. I was on a budget and I didn’t want to spend more than $10. I’m a single mom with two kids. I just have to say that the two people that I encountered at Subway were so informative and so knowledgeable about prices ! A lot of people nowadays don’t care and just work to get paid giving the most basic information. Not here! They even offered their own money out of their own pocket if I did not have enough. That to me is just outstanding. They are two young outstanding men who need to be recognized. Their names were Mario and Misael. I had the money that I needed to pay, but I just think that they should get some kind of recognition for humanity and kind heartedness. The bread was fresh and my sandwich was phenomenal! Thank you!

The “cleaning lady” said they were already cleaning and only allowing to-go orders. At 7:00 PM — during dinner time — this is completely unacceptable. If the staff is too lazy to keep the dining room open during posted hours, then don’t advertise that you’re open. We won’t be back, and I’d warn anyone else to avoid this location if you expect basic customer service.
