Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- LGLisa GuerreroJan 5, 20262.0I’m happy that there is finally something else on 46 between New Braunfels and Seguin, however I still think they are needing to iron out some kinks. We have ordered several times and the food is somewhat cold and never cooked throughout. The food doesn’t taste as good and as hot and fresh as other established Whataburgers. Hope this improves.

- CCChristine CramerDec 24, 20252.0EDIT 12/27: ordered breakfast hoping the order accuracy might improve. It did not. Wrong cheese was used on entire order and butter was not included as requested. Dropping service to 1 star because it’s not really an enjoyable meal if it’s completely wrong, is it? 12/21 - lunch order (original review) What a disappointing experience. I came here with 3 other people and 2 of the 4 orders were totally wrong and did not include the extra sauces we paid for. Also, half of us got our orders essentially right away. For the other half, the wait time to get our meal was a solid 20 minutes (and the store was seemingly not super busy). The store is all windows, so it was HOT inside. Not much the employees can do about that, but it does seem like poor planning. Food itself OK, but my partner asked for “toasted on both sides” and their burger came back with straight up black burns over most of the entire top and bottom bun. I don’t recommend. I may eat here in a pinch, but I would MUCH rather make the drive an extra couple of minutes and get P. Terry’s which is nearly always hot, fresh, and delicious.
