Eh. It's on my way to work.. this location has been remodeled and has been here a LONG time (lifelong Newbraunfelser). I'm impressed with the cleanliness, given the age of the place. Service is consistent. Food quality varies. I'll still go because sometimes I want a patty melt and the location is sometimes convenient for me.

Ordered online and got there past the ready time and still had to wait 10-15 minutes. 10 employees working 8 female, 2 male, all 10 Hispanic. I Ordered a jalapeno cheese burger with double meat, grilled jalapenos and grilled onions. Got zero jalapenos and zero onions. My wife ordered a patty melt with grilled peppers and onions, and extra fresh onions, had very little onions and zero grilled peppers and grilled onions. The only thing this place got right was my son's kids chicken nugget meal. Woo. This place has gone down hill just as bad as the one off I-10 in seguin now

Ordered through the drive thru. Got home and a whole meal was missing. Got in touch with customer care and they said they can't help since it wasn't through the app. So no meal for my 13 year old son and they have my money, but at least they "understand" my frustration.

The speed of this location is ridiculous. Took over 30 minutes for them to make a single simple burger. Orders for the dine in should be treated no differently than people waiting in their cars for pickup. But yet I’ve waited for over 30 minutes for my burger while I’ve watched over 10 orders being ran out to curbside. Will not be returning here unless they figure out how to speed things. After all it’s called FAST FOOD for a reason.

If you read my LJS review for the same town this won’t be much different. I should’ve reviewed this place when I picked up the last DoorDash delivery on 11/28/2025. From 8/1-11/28/2025 I basically lived in the parking lot behind them and Long John’s. I ordered something from this restaurant almost daily and I definitely picked up DoorDash orders here daily. They probably had no idea I lived in the parking lot behind them until my car was back in shape to get back to Florida and if they did they didn’t treat me differently because of it. As a customer my food was always great and the staff was always very kind to me. As a late night DoorDash my patience was tested with wait times quite a bit, it that place stays packed on weekend nights and nobody just stands there. They truly do the best they can. I am grateful for all of my interactions with the staff of this store. Thank you for providing the DoorDash business that got me back to Florida. One day at a time, one repair or new tire after another we got it done. Little by little. I would definitely go back again if I’m ever that way.
