Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

An employee was rude and was yelling at my mom to get down to the lobby just because she didn't know English while I was on the phone with her the whole entire time and I could her her yelling at my mom without even letting her talk or show her the order number.

I've given this Whataburger many, many chances since it's very convenient, and I'm not kidding—EVERY single time they get something wrong. Ask for no condiments? They add mustard. Ask for no tomatoes? They add tomatoes. Ask for a large meal? They give you medium. I have to make sure to double down on everything and specify every single little detail, sit at the little intercom for like 10 minutes clarifying everything every minute detail, and they still get something wrong. I'd be forgiving if this only happened once or twice, I know people make mistakes, but it gets infuriating when it is legitimately every. single. time. The manager is very kind though, the food is actually quite tasty in my opinion, but I'd appreciate how fast the service is a little more if they ever got my order correct in the first go!!
