Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

If you don't want condiments on your burger (not me, just a friend I take there.) you have no specify "no condiments, no mustard, no ketchup, no mayonnaise." I have said just "no condiments" a few times and somehow each time that translated into "just mustard." I have also orderedlarge meals and was asked "Did you want a large drink and fry with that large meal?" ... Need I specify more? Anyways, the employees just don't seem to care about their job. I'd say on any normal day, "who can blame them?" But it's my money and meal on the line for this order. If I pay 15 bucks on lunch, I don't particularly care if the employees are underpaid I don't expect to be screwed over because of such unfortunate circumstances.

- JJJonathan JonesNov 30, 20251.0I had a early flight to catch thought I’d stop and get some breakfast since I was a bit early and hungry sat in line a while usual whataburger fashion long line get to the front I’m already antsy to get to the airport and my stomach is growling now they give me the wrong order I could tell by the drink that the order was wrong so I tell them I had a coffee this is wrong they start arguing about who’s fault it was they ended up blaming the other customer who had taken the bigger order like it was his responsibility to check the order they moved us up and we waited about 15 mins I couldn’t wait so I got dropped off to the airport without my food my wife did go back but the food still wasn’t ready so she didn’t even have time to bring it to me
