Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Many customers expressed frustration with long wait times for food, often exceeding 20 minutes.
Food Quality
While some customers praised the burgers and fries, others noted issues with food presentation and quality, including incorrect orders.
Cleanliness
The cleanliness of the bathrooms was frequently criticized, with reports of unsanitary conditions.
Staff Friendliness
Most reviews highlighted friendly and helpful staff, although there were some mentions of poor service experiences.
Value for Money
Customers had mixed feelings about pricing, with some feeling it was too high for the portion sizes received.

Attached to a Chevron. Absolutely the nastiest store and restrooms I've encountered in the last 3 weeks.
Washed my hands and left. Uggg...

Espero y vea algún manayer. Por qué se hacen demasiado tiempo en entregar una orden 30 minutos no se me hace justo y un empleado se sale afuera con el teléfono y se mete no se apuran demasiado lentos

A Whataburger attached to a fuel/truck ⛽ stop. Clean location and the staff I encountered were friendly.
For fast food... the burgers were pretty good. The chicken sandwich appeared to be a real beast piece... unlike so many competitors.
Would visit again.

Ridiculous wait! People that ordered after me got their food way before me. I waited 30-minutes for my food! I ordered 1 burger and fries! Lady in the kitchen too busy coming out and fussing at the cashier to get the orders filled. She had a bad attitude! The cashier was the best though! Her name was Lele!

While ordering food, the staff were very friendly. Absolutely no issue there.
Bathroom was DESTROYED. So many people had peed on the stall door that the wood was rotting. The toilet was coming off the ground and slid around and there was graffiti all over the inside.
Our order was messed up 2 times in a row. The store was not busy at this time. Staff were polite and fixed the order without issue however. The food quality was subpar as far as whataburger normally goes. Very stopped together and wrapped poorly. Burgers fell apart when picked up IN WRAPPER. Kinda crazy.
This was just a standard fast food experience.
