It was our first time trying the restaurant (1/10/26). It was almost 6 pm on a Saturday night. We should have taken the hint in the fact that the restaurant was almost completly empty. The staff wasn't rude but wasn't overly welcoming or informative. We really didn't have an idea what was included. We started by ordering a 3 meat, all brisket plate. I wanted all beef. We were told that none of the meats could be doubled up on. That it was a sampling of meats and they had to be different. I've never been told at any BBQ place before that I could only have one serving of any of the meats. We then ordered one rib plate, ribs were very dry, watered down sauce was poured over them. Second plate was the worst dried out brisket we have ever had. Due to allergies and lack of ingredient knowledge I opted for no sauce. Between the rice and the beans, the rice looked the least dried out. However taste wise was not very good. What we thought was mashed potatoes was ice cold mashed potato salad. Which seemed very odd. We both had peach cobbler. The peach filling was good but was self serve and mainly crust only. We left at 7:30pm. There was only one other table the entire time, two to go orders, and not sure what the drive through did. Not sure if the lack of business was why the food was dried out or it was the other way around. Unfortunately we have to cross this restaurant off on the return list and can not recommend it.

The meat is consistently delicious!! I will be 64 in a couple of days and I've been eating here since I was a child. When it was in the location across from what is now Walmart. The sides are average. Service is with a smile. The brisket is cooked exactly how brisket should be cooked!!

The stuffed baked potato was large and had plenty of butter and cheese. But it was ruined with imitation bacon bits.

Where to start..knew I was in trouble when they pulled brisket slices from a hot water warmer..yep boiled brisket, cut into cubes and the sauce that drowned the meat was probably top 5 worse bbq sauces I've ever had the displeasure of eating. Couldn't finish the "chopped beef" sandwich.
Edit: had to add this..brisket had no flavor(if it did the BBQ sauce killed it) and no bark,no noticeable smoke ring.
