Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Numerous customers reported extremely slow service, especially during peak hours, with long wait times in the drive-thru and incorrect orders being common.
Food Quality
Many reviews highlighted inconsistent food quality, with complaints about cold fries, incorrect orders, and poorly prepared items.
Staff Attitude
Several customers experienced rude or inattentive staff, with specific mentions of poor customer service from certain employees.
Positive Experiences
Despite the negative feedback, some customers praised the food and service, noting friendly staff and good experiences during less busy times.

Every single time I stop by in the morning on my way to work something is wrong with my order. The cook absolutely sucks,. This morning I bought a sausage breakfast bowl & 2 sausage on a bun. The sausage & egg on all 3 were Burnt. The eggs were brown they were so over cooked. The breakfast bowl barely had any gravy & there were no hash browns. Wataburger is expensive to begin with. This isn't the 1st time. Maybe it will be better next time, but it hardly ever is. The location in Montgomery needs to hire actual cooks who know how to do their job.

Can you give zero stars?
My family always stops for Whataburger on our way home from vacation. Last night, we stopped at the Montgomery location. After ordering and waiting over 30 minutes in the drive thru, we watched 5 other cars who ordered after us get their food. We had to flag down a worker to ask about our order.
Staff member taking orders was half asleep and rude, as was the manager who came out to tell us they lost our order!

Total disaster of epic proportions. The lady taking my drive thru order was mumbling and half asleep. Every worker in the drive through looked like zombies half awake. I waited 45 minutes with not a single employee coming to my lane so I could even pay or get my drinks. I had to waive them down so they could tell me what the problem was… only to find out they didn’t even put in my drive thru order or even knew what I ordered. This is almost a regular occurrence when ordering food here at night. A change in supervision or management for the night shift is strongly needed… The horrendous service here is so common and it’s only getting worse.

Wait for forever when no one is here. They don’t care. They then ask you what your order was and make you wait another 45 mins. Gets worse every time. Negative 10 stars. All the employees stand around with the lead paint stare. Can’t even spell. Didn’t care when we asked them about our food.
