  We decided to try Kai’s out last night for the first time. We ordered from their website to go. Once you place the order, it gives you an eta of food arrival. The clock ticked and ticked past the estimated time. The phone rings. It’s the restaurant telling us we needed to hurry to pick up our food because they were about to close. We informed her that we ordered delivery through their website. As we’re saying this she stayed the delivery driver was pulling up. 6 minutes later the doorbell rings and the food is in the porch and the driver is pulling out while waving. We go to open the food and the shorted us an entire meal, a pound of shrimp. We try to call at 9:00 on the dot, of course no one answers. We proceed to split up the meals we did receive. All of the food was cold so had to be heated. The seafood boil was mediocre and the potatoes weren’t cooked all the way. They use rotel tomatoes in their crawfish Etoufee which is a creole thing not authentic Cajun. The crawfish bread was ok. We will not be back.
