  I used to love this place, now it’s nothing but an utter disappointment. 2 weeks ago I had an awful experience, people had literally been waiting almost 2 hours for crawfish, young female employee upfront openly stated a high school student was basically running the kitchen, waited an hour and 15 minutes for shrimp boil and po-boy that was sub-par at best. I figured I’d give them another chance today as everyone can have a bad day. I was given cold food, 7 shrimp total in a half lb order, which are usually large shrimp almost filling the box. I can almost guarantee someone weighed this with corn in it, which shouldn’t have happened because it’s paid for separately. Corn was stale & tastes like it has been sitting out for hours. The shrimp were cold and over cooked. And I had to wait 15 minutes standing at the bar with several employees walking past before I was even acknowledged. I’ll never come back here again, the owner needs to get it together.

  Emily Shaw and Christine Hashberger, shame on you for such a horrible review. It looks like Emily had her friend leave a nasty review. I went to Krawfish Kai and had such a great experience! Don’t get me started on their frozen daiquiris! My family and I had Clarissa as our server, and she was so sweet. She even upsold us to 5 lbs of crawfish! I was trying to hop around places in the area so glad she did! Krawfish Kai has amazing flavor and super juicy crawfish. We will definitely be back!! 🙂

  As soon as our server, Clarissa, came over she was unwelcoming. Seemed like she didnt want to be there. Slow to come back to the table throughout the meal and always very short with her responses/questions. The biggest issue for me was that 2 out of the 5 meals came out AFTER my husband had already completely finished his meal and she had taken his plate away! He was even trying to eat slow to wait for us but it still took truly 30 mins longer to receive our boils. Tables around us who ordered after us had their boils before us. All we got was a "sorry" for having to eat meals at completely separate times.

  Horrible service... our waitress Clarrisa G. looked/acted like we were ruining her day. Constant eye rolls as soon as we sat down. She wouldn't comeback for quite sometime ran out of drinks. Took 30mins longer to get the boils after we recieved our other meals. People next to us had there boils long before us, and had arrived way after us. The food was alright but for the wait and attitude, we wouldn't go back. The patio is nice and thats why we gave two stars. Portions for the price were laughable.

  I truly can’t recommend this place enough! The food was delicious and the customer service was TOP TIER!!! This was our very first time going here and we just so happened to go on a night that the owner was there (we had no idea he was sitting right next to us). When we ordered the appetizer we really wanted and found out they were out for the night, we ordered something else and made the comment to our waitress that we made an hour drive to come there for me to have their gumbo eggrolls (what they were out of) and shrimp; not expecting anything out of that just making small talk. Well the owner overheard us and told the waitress to tell the cook to make some more for us (they’re homemade, not frozen). She had already put in our alternative appetizer option so they gave us those as well as what we originally wanted and comped the alternative. Again, the food was absolutely delicious, everything we had, but aside from that, the customer service was top tier and we would 1000% go back any chance we get. We had boiled shrimp in spicy garlic, gumbo eggrolls, crawfish boullette’s, death by crawfish & our kids had the kids shrimp basket. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
