  Did not have change for a 100. This gas station. Left me with no gas. Un excuable. What kind of business doesn't have change for a large bill.

  1☆ 2nd April Wednesday of '26. Today... this afternoon: my bill OVERCHARGED + I was SHORT•CHANGED by $5. Both cashiers young & white. What gives HEB ??👎👎 Y'all hiring people from BO•montZ ??   I’ve used H‑E‑B curbside many times, but this last order made me rethink the whole service. I noticed a $5 coupon didn’t get applied, so I reached out. They told me to call instead of helping through messages, which was already annoying. While on the phone, I also realized I was charged about 10% more for my steaks than what the butcher’s receipt showed. When I asked why, they pointed to the fine print that says online and in‑store prices may vary. The problem is that the wording is very easy to misinterpret. It sounds like prices might change because of weight or substitutions, not that they’re actually marking up items online. Nothing about it makes that clear, and I honestly felt misled. The curbside service is advertised as “free,” but you’re really paying extra through higher item prices. After how they handled my questions on the phone, I wanted to warn other customers. If you use curbside, just know you may be paying more than you think, and the fine print doesn’t explain that in a straightforward way.
