This interaction demonstrated a profound lack of essential communication and customer service skills, which is particularly concerning for someone in a leadership role, such as a Grocery Manager or Manager in Charge. Exceptional customer service is a fundamental expectation for all staff, even new hires, yet Stephanie failed to perform this basic professional function.
