Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- ZGzavarion grantMar 30, 20265.0I don’t often leave reviews for restaurants, but i really want to show my appreciation for the staff at this location, each visit is very pleasant and service always exceeds expectation, there’s one guy who does curbside (couldn’t quite get his name but usually is there nights) who’s always so nice, and also john who also usually at the window, both are really kind people and have EXCELLENT service, I really appreciate you guys, thank you both and the rest of the team so much for making each visit a great one!

Few things make me happier than Whataburger and the Alamo. But this location just cannot get it together. They genuinely need to hire someone from any Chick-fil-A in America to come run a seminar. I waited at the speaker so long I started wondering if I accidentally pulled up to a historical landmark where we just reflect quietly on burgers of the past. Meanwhile the person at the window helped the entire line of cars next to me while I sat there like a ghost haunting the drive-thru. Both lanes were open. No one took my order. And this isn’t a one-time issue either. I’ve gotten cold, rock-hard fries, lukewarm burgers, the wrong order entirely, and once waited 45 minutes for one chicken wrap and a Dr Pepper. I love Whataburger. I really do. But this one is testing my loyalty to the state of Texas. 🤠
