Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Very horrible experience tonight ! They told me to pull up because my order was not ready but handed me my sprite( very flat) . I had been waiting for about 15 minutes and I walked in to look for my food considering it had been some time and I was not given a receipt. I walked in and noticed there was more staff than customers so I was confused as to why the wait was so long and the lady at the front was telling the customer the soda machine was down (this likely explained my flat drink) . The young man( with brown dreads) who took my order came up to me and said “you placing another order “ with a bag of food in his hand and a beverage. I said “no I’m waiting for my food and / or my receipt for my order “ . Some time passes and still no food . Another gentlemen who was also working the drive thru stated hey i remember you from the drive -thru how can i help you . The gentle man with brown dreads proceeds to say “bro I asked her was this her order” he’s not even 5 feet away I can clearly hear him . I kindly corrected him and said “no you asked me was I placing another order and I told you know” I guess he wanted me to assume the food he had in his hands was for me . There was no “hi or hello” the communication was horrible from the young man . Also my food had been sitting there the whole time on their counter and was cold and the sprite was flat … however I’m inclined to believe they knew the sprite was not going to be good but assumed I wouldn’t notice or say anything because I was in the drive -thru . I notice them tell all the costumers inside the store that the soda machine was down as I was waiting for my order. Prob wouldn’t return to this location again and I hope the young man learns about customer service and how to effectively communicate.

I would give 5 stars there was Quick service and very kind employees. Unfortunately, the management style created a tense atmosphere that was uncomfortable to witness. The staff deserve to be treated with the same respect they show customers

Clyde was amazing sooo helpful was so patience always had a smile when more then one person asking for something at same time cleaned tables ask for our trash and held door as we left never had such a great experience there great experience

The waiting time is always very long. I ordered a chocolate shake, but it was extremely difficult to drink because the straw was too small. I had to apply a lot of pressure just to take a sip, which actually hurt my cheeks and tongue. It took more than half an hour before I could even start drinking. They really need to switch to bigger, better straws.

This Whataburger on Hwy 6 never disappoints! The food is always hot, fresh, and made exactly how I order it. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seems to care about great customer service. The drive-thru moves efficiently, even during busy times, and the inside is clean and comfortable. Whether it’s a late-night stop or a quick meal during the day, they consistently deliver quality and that classic Whataburger experience. Definitely one of the best locations around!
