Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    I go here all the time, but it's time something gets fixed at this restaurant. 40 minutes to get my order and only after I asked for it numerous times. My order was lost after placing it. Tons of people waiting. Please work on the logistics. The food is good but need to be more organized to get the food out.

    This is by far the best fast food location on Highway 6 by far they always have full staff available to handle any occasion full dining area or drive-thru and even doordash food is made fresh every time anytime and they have the best staff available

    Food is great. But they have no clue how Drive thru works . Does this store expect customers to wait an hr in drive thru to get food??.. This was at 6 pm ,not even late night when they are understaffed . This store needs to learn from others like Chick-fil-A and other food chains which gets more customers in their vicinity on how to organize drive thru orders

    I don’t normally post negative reviews, but oh my goodness something has to be done about this whataburger. It literally takes FOREVER to get your order. I thought it was just a one time thing, but this has been a consistent issue here. It has happened to me over and over again, and even when I order DoorDash, I have drivers messaging me that it’s taking them a long time to get the order out. I recently drove through, took forever, realized that my order was incorrect once I finally drove off. So, I called and explained my order was incorrect, I had already waited forever in the drive through line, and I had three kids in the car. I was curious if they could bring out the correct food, and they said I had to come in. So I brought all three kids in and I waited forever AGAIN just to explain that my order was incorrect and needed it corrected. I don’t even know what to say anymore. This location is a huge disappointment.

    I normally don’t post reviews because I understand how challenging it can be to run a business and manage customer expectations. However, my experience at this Whataburger was simply unacceptable. I visited around 12:16 AM, and while I completely understand that late-night hours can mean limited staffing, the level of service I received was disappointing. The gentleman who took my payment was polite and professional — no issues there. When I pulled up to the next window, the young lady handed me drinks with no cup holder and appeared frustrated when I asked for one. After that, I was asked to pull forward to wait for my order. I ended up waiting 25–30 minutes for four meals. When my food was finally brought out, I checked quickly and assumed everything was fine. Once I got home, I discovered missing items — the fries from my #1 combo were not included, and the entire BK Breakfast Sandwich meal was missing altogether. I called back and spoke with someone named Sarah, who asked if I could come back right then — at nearly 1 AM. After waiting that long already, that was an unreasonable request. It’s disappointing to have this kind of experience, especially when Whataburger is known for great food and hospitality. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback and uses it to ensure that late-night customers receive the same quality of service as daytime guests.
