  OMG DO NOT EAT HERE! im visiting texas and whataburger is always a tradition for me when im down here...NEVER AGAIN! I walk in...stand there for 5 minutes being ignored. Finally what im assuming to be the manager (zara or something like that)comes up carrying a large box and slams it on the floor directly in front of the cash register as hard as she can. Not sure what happened before I walked in to make her act this way. She says "can I take your order?) I said "yes ill have a number 2" and thats all the words I got out before she just walked away and went back to the kitchen. I stood there another 5 minutes and she came back. I ordered a number 2...w onion rings and an apple pie. A few minutes later an employee shows her an apple pie...im guessing concerned about the date on the sticker...because SHE PEELED THE STICKER OFF RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME AND PUT IT IN MY BAG! I check the bag...wrong food. Frues...no onion rings. I didnt want to deal with her again so as I went to leave I got the attention of the employee that mentioned the sticker to her and told him I just sat there and watched her peel that sticker off and throw it in the trash right in front of me. He said he was sorry and he tried to show her and that was her solution. Peel the sticker off and throw it in the trash and serve it to me anyway. I told them its cool. Ill just eat their garbage right? You just keep poisoning your customers here with expired food and hopefully other customers read these reviews and stay out of this place. I know I will

  Today I went to this place and I am very unhappy with the service every one was moving around like a dear in head light i even asked the young lady that took my order to repeat my order back to me as well as the price.that did not help because my order was still wrong and my food was cold and all that the manager had to say was I’ll check the food temperature….i will never in my life go back to this place after I get my refund for this and by the way it’s my birthday smh please go anywhere else Bur this location if you want to really enjoy your food for what it should be.

  I was very disappointed with my recent visit 2/15/2026, which is surprising because this has always been one of my favorite Whataburger locations. I stop by frequently when I’m working in Mesquite—usually four or five times a month. I ordered a Cobb Salad with extra chicken to take to work but received a regular Garden Salad with no eggs, cheese, or bacon. Mistakes happen, of course, but when I called to inform the store, Michelle, the managing partner, told me I would need to return to the restaurant to have it corrected or to receive a refund. I completely understand that policy when dining in, but since I had already taken the order to work, returning wasn’t practical. It was frustrating to feel like there was no reasonable solution—either eat the incorrect order or go without lunch and come back later for it to be fixed correctly or refund. This experience was disappointing, especially coming from management at a location I’ve always liked and recommended!!
