  I don’t know what has happened within the last few months but Saltgrass has really stepped it up, especially being in Mesquite, I was flabbergasted at how well the staff was towards the customer. Everybody opened my doors, the restrooms were clean, the staff worked beautifully together, and the food was pretty good! I tipped 20% because anything less would have been on insult on my behalf. I will definitely make this location my monthly steak of choice!

  Oof. The ladies at the front where young and polite but when they sent me to the back pick up area.. .omg fire in her eyes you could see the rage and anger in her tone. I was met with a very slow southern drawl and the immediate "your kind is not welcome here" gaze. The communication was very dark antagonizing to say the least and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I could tell by her coffee cup with the lid on it that she runs that domain space in the back low dark corner and she was there to let me know! Sheesh. I'm so glad this really does not exist back home in sunny California and we aren't living in the stone age anymore! Pray for them. 🌴

  I had a very disappointing experience at Saltgrass today. While the food itself was great, the service completely overshadowed it. Our server, Jenafer, was unprofessional and inattentive from the start. She didn’t greet us upon arrival and rarely checked on our table, while we noticed her regularly attending to others around us. My water never arrived, and we eventually had to ask the manager just to get something as basic as water. By the end of the meal, we were left waiting so long that we nearly had to get up and leave just to pay at the front. The overall experience felt uncomfortable and, frankly, discriminatory. It’s unfortunate because the food was enjoyable, but the lack of service and professionalism made this visit highly disappointing.

  my family and i recently visited and had an amazing experience, the food was very fresh and flavorful! our server nathaniel was absolutely outstanding, making the entire dining experience graceful . From the moment we sat down he was very welcoming, attentive, and efficient.

  I've been wanting to treat myself to a good ribeye steak for awhile so I got there at 11am just when they opened. 30 minutes later I was digging in to a perfectly cooked and juicy steak. Staff was inviting and professional. I enjoyed my experience and will be returning when my wallet says I can.
