2/22/26 The Tortilla soup is very bland now. Ive been coming to OTB for over 10yrs just for the Tortilla soup and now its more of a broth, a 10th of the spice. Very disappointing. Service is great, always is, the bartender/Server is awesome, we always get the same guy. Clearly this is corporate or someone is new idk but someway somehow this needs to be fixed. Sincerely, someone who doesn't want to cook at home.

On Saturday, I called to arrange seating for 15–17 people at 6:15 p.m. on Sunday. After 10 minutes of being placed on hold with no communication, I hung up. When I called back, I spoke with Janet, the manager, who took down our party details and asked me to call Sunday at 5 p.m. to remind the team so tables could be prepared and ready for the group. I called around 5 p.m., gave a heads up that we’d be there at 6:15 with 15 people, and confirmed the tables would be available and ready for the group. The tables were not ready at 6:15. We were seated around 7 pm, and they sat us at two separate tables. We asked to move the tables together, which they did consent to. It felt like there was no communication, accountability, or clear process for handling a large group, despite doing exactly what we were asked to do. This was disappointing and frustrating.

OTB favorites are no longer on the menu, however the drinks are still great! Tonight my very good friend/Sister and I went to OTB in Mesquite and was fortunate to have Darby as our server! She loves her job and takes pride in it. She's the reason we'll come back again!!!

This restaurant used to be our absolute favorite. For years, every holiday and special occasion meant ordering takeout from here. Sadly, after today’s experience, we won’t be returning. The menu is completely different now, and many of our favorite items are gone. We decided to try several dishes anyway, hoping it would still live up to the memories, but it didn’t. The shrimp tacos were hard and the tortillas crumbled apart. The queso was so watered down it wouldn’t even stay on the chips. The salsa smelled so bad it literally turned our stomachs just from the smell. The enchiladas had no sauce on them at all. The birria tacos were soggy instead of crispy, and the consommé wasn’t even a sauce, it was just full of extra meat. The burrito was dry, the beans were runny, and the rice was hard. The only thing that was actually good was the burger (which is surprising at a Tex-Mex restaurant). To make matters worse, our bill was over $200.00, and when I went to pick up the order, the cashier said I still owed $2.00 — even though my receipt clearly showed a zero balance. I ended up telling them to take it out of the tip I had already left. This place used to be something we looked forward to for special memories. It’s disappointing to see how much it has changed, and unfortunately, we won’t be back.
