  Co owner Manny is a true treasure. He really cares about every guest having a wonderful time. We were so immersed in the experience and enjoyed everything so much that we forgot to take pictures. My husbands Lamb Gyro was overflowing with tender lamb, just the right amount of tomatoes, red onion and refreshing Tziki. The Greek fries were deliciously seasoned and just crispy on the outside. Perfect! My Lamb Souvlaki was incredibly tender and mouthwatering. Hot fresh pita bread pared with cool tziki was sooooo good. Dessert was an experience! Fresh baked Greek custard I couldn’t begin to pronounce. The thinnest Phyllo layers filled with the freshest most divine custard topped with phyllo and dusted with powdered sugar perfection beyond belief. Resting on sweet syrup nectar. Unbelievable meal! Truly. This gem never disappoints! Grab your friends, family and neighbors! Go visit Manny and everyone at the one and only Atheneos Greek restaurant in Mesquite!

  Every time we come back to Texas we always stop by to eat there delicious Gyros reminds me when we when to Greece delicious and everything tastes really good

  Greek food at its finest. Gyro is great. Hubby always has Pastichio. Greek salad amazing. You will usually find the owner or his wife talk with the customers. Great place to eat.

  Emmanuel, the manager/owner, is such a nice and friendly man. Our server was also great. The food was fresh and hit the spot. We had the dolmas, spanakopita, and chicken souvlaki.
