Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Very disappointed tonight in the drive through at 2 am. Our post surgery meal and breakfast plan for tomorrow missed the mark sadly. Food quality...sad and disappointed. Taquitos shrank! Are yall cutting food cost by making the taquitos much smaller (3 inches max)? Our beloved taquitos are half the size they used to be. The family was shocked when they pulled them out of the bag at home. Then, the one burger (meat) was cold? This was for our family member who had surgery. I tried calling the restaurant directly to address all of this, and ask for my receipt, which I never got, but no one answered. I cringe writing this, because I am in the service industry, and will attempt to write this with grace, but please train/evaluate the employees. I was going to add more to my order, but was rushed. Then the money thing was weird (total price changed after I handed cash?) I initially overlooked it in case I heard her wrong, but got no receipt. I tried to call right after to try to get one. Maybe she was having a terrible day, which I can give some grace. Or perhaps she despises her late night job. Make em happier, train them up to the standard please...we love whataburger.
