  My wife and I come here whenever we come grocery shopping and have a great experience every time. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is very good, and the dining area is neat and clean. Kudos to Oscar for providing great service on this particular visit. We recommend HEB BBQ!

  I was excited about trying this location but it grew disappointing as i attempted to order. It says one meat plate $9 but when you press the choice of meat it increases to almost $20; i couldnt figure that out so i left the machine and seeked a cashier instead. It is the same thing, so dont believe the plate cost the price advertised. I ordered as a side corn bread and a diet soda besides my ribs. I paid and headed to the fountain drink which was broken, then the cashier let me know they ran out of corn bread and ribs. I requested a refund. It took 27 min to get a refund because the cashier couldn’t figure it out so luckily Alex showed up and made it happen. He asked me why and i explained to him that no soda, no corn bread no ribs, i rather eat elsewhere…

  I was talking to Oscar in the BBQ department, and by the way gave me excellent service.....Thank you Oscar!! I was mentioning him how I thought that y'all's chicken are the best I've had being here in TX. However, I'm from New Orleans where we like a little spice, so I was wondering if y'all would consider kicking y'all's tenders up a notch by adding a little spice to them?

  Yesterday, at True Texas BBQ in McKinney, I was met with a wonderful experience of True Customer Service...like it used to be and should always be at All establishments! Although I received this warm and genuine service from all the staff (both times I was there yesterday), I must give an Abundance of Kudos and Appreciation to Mike! Yes, Sir! You, Mike should create the "play-book" and train other establishments staff on Customer Service and Support. You are an Asset! 😊💯👍🏽
