- ASAmy Scott3 days ago1.0Used self checkout today - 01/20/26. The lady overseeing self-checkout quietly told the manager-acting guy with the low ponytail three times that I had scanned my eggs. This guy was really worried I might be trying to steal eggs. The eggs were scanned and on the screen so I tried to ignore it. Then when the machine beeped later in the transaction he rushed in to “help”. I am very careful about my scanning. But I think I just became an HEB customer. I don’t like being made to feel like a criminal when I’m buying chicken breast at $9 each.
