It was pouring rain and honestly I was trying to escape the rain since I had an appt for a haircut next door, I was a bit early so I was going to hang out in the vehicle until than. I thought, hmmm im a little hungry and just walked in. Firebowl (low key thought tex mex at first didn't know what this place was) was really good. I was in the mood for some spicy essential and it delivered. Im glad I just happened to walk in (thanks rain for pushing me in). Food is really good, staff seem friendly, and solid price for the amount of food we get.

Food was delicious. We Had pineapple fried rice with chicken. In a stirfry veggie bowl I didn't see the water chestnuts so I asked for some extra and they brought me a huge bowl. They were delicious. They were like match sticks of water chestnuts, and they were delicious. We also tried the Crispy, veggie rolls, and Dad loved those and I did edamame, which was absolutely delicious.
Very friendly staff!

First timer. Sunday afternoon. Young ladies did a nice job with customer service and explaining the concept and recommendations. I tried Shrimp w extra shrimp Fire Rice, Beef extra beef Fire Noodle and Chicken extra chicken Drunken noodles. . The food was just ok. Not a ton of flavor though. Nothing really authentic tasting like I really wanted Generic Asian food. $55 spent. Sorry FireBowl but I will prob not be back due to lack of flavor. Beef was chewy as well and texture was weird and spongy.

Appetizers 😴
1.Pork egg roll can only be described as pedestrian. It was so plain and boiler plate “egg roll” with a very plain red sauce.
2.The soft Thai summer rolling was large but I felt like it was so large to distract you from how incredibly boring the peanut sauce was.
In summary the appetizers Are very skippable here you could walk down to the Costco down the street and get a free sample and have the same experience.
2. Drinks 👍
I did have one of their signature refreshers. I had their Vietnamese coffee! It was great. I genuinely enjoyed it. I came with my wife and she made the comment that “I wish it came with ice” . I pointed out to her as someone who frequently travels to China and other Asian countries that ice in your drinks is a very American good thing. So my advise get a refresher Embrace the no ice.
3. Main Dish 👍🔥❤️
Vermicelli Singapore
I ordered this dish to be my litmus test as I order this similar dish everywhere I go. I worked in a high end tai restaurant for years and this dish is hard to pull off at times.
They nailed this! ❤️ portions were large and flavor was great. When they say 🔥 on their menu they are not messing around. It’s almost drowning in noodles and you have to kind of dig to find the chicken. It was interesting that the was kind of fried!?
5. Concept 😎
The overall concept I think is absolutely great. I didn’t try the build your own stirfry this time, but I’m definitely coming back to try it myself. I am a little worried with the amount of fire 🔥 symbols. I see at the bottom of the choose your own sauce and never thought of myself as a basic white guy until now. If my limit is one single 🔥 then I’m kind of cornered to only have a choice of three sauces here but I’m willing to put it to the test.
I’m coming back and trying the soup and sandwich next time.
GREAT FOR KIDS 👶 I have a 13-year-old who is extremely picky, but I am bringing her here looking at the kids bowls she’s definitely going to eat this place up.
6. Service 🤩🤩🤩
My wife and I literally stumbled into this place, wanting to try something new by our house. We were warmly greeted by RayRay. She’s was delight walked us through the menu and the concept. Through her help we were able to avoid the restless and decision that we have when coming to a new restaurant Easily pick what we want. When you’re on a lunch break that is a huge help, when time is not on your side. I spent more time writing this review than I did picking my food. I would come here just to meet RAYRAY she was a ray of sunshine ☀️. All the food came out a timely manner. Cook Took it upon himself to bring us out our food, which was super sweet Ray was busy with another task. Sidenote, there were some weird Skinny emo kid that was playing with some binders. Manager probably , well he stared right in our food, ready sitting in the window and then looked back down at the binders. So I really appreciated the cooked, taking it up upon himself and felt proud of his dish to walk out to us himself. It was very nice.

A new gem in McKinney that is worth visit if your are looking for fresh and fast stir fry meals and other Asian dishes. First the food: Hot and fresh and made to order. No scoops from metal trays as you move down the line. You get a choice of how you want your dish prepared or you can choose the old favorites like orange or sesame chicken or noodles and soups with a Thai influence. Now, don't hesitate because you are not into Thai food as they have tons of options. I had the chicken stir fry with vegetables and their Fire Sauce. Note: Fire Sauce with 3 chilis = American hot not asian hot. Its good and favorable but not too hot. Wife had tempura sesame chicken. Both meals were outstanding, fresh and we had left overs for home. Paired our meal with pot stickers (outstanding), apple pie egg rolls and cream cheese wontons for desert. Everything was great and we will be back. Next time I think I will be bold and try the Drunken Noodles!
Now the people. Read the other reviews. Do you wonder why Ray Ray is mentioned a lot? It's because she doesn't just sit behind the counter and take your order while looking like she wants to be somewhere else in the moment. She greeted us as we walked in, came up to use to explain the menu and was a joy to interact every step of the way. She makes it feel like you are visiting Ray Ray for a good meal, not just ordering at the counter and then eating. She is not overbearing, just friendly and helpful and willing to answer any questions. The GM was there, working behind the counter but delivering meals as needed. This is a place managed by someone who understands that people are the critical component to any business. Great to see this in an age where food service seems to attract businesses that don't understand that point.
So, enjoy this place while it is still a hidden gem (if you can be surrounded by other restaurants on 380). First in North Texas and I expect to see them throughout the metro area soon. Highly recommended.
