  When this location first opened it was great, but the last couple of times we have visited it has been sub-par. The first time we were missing extra sides we had ordered and the chicken was dried out and tough. The second time there was no beans in the pollo bowl, just chicken and rice.

  Went there today the cashier girl was amazing at her service good shout out to her !! But i came to say that I’m very disappointed at how the manager or whoever she is that is in charge of the workers treated her employees i dined in to eat and all i heard was her yelling strictly to her to her workers. I walked in and saw one of my cow workers who has special needs and started making conversation with him asking about how he was she immediately came into the conversation and told him to not talk and to get to work he is a very kinded person who they take advantage of his pure heart. I am so sad at how he was treated .

  Incredibly disappointing! This place really needs new management. Who is the owner here? Someone needs to step in and fix this place before his workers run it out of business. I was so excited to see an El Pollo loco in McKinney. I've been enjoying chicken there since I was a kid. These people are confused, unprofessional and it appears to be extremely high. They couldn't understand or respond to basic questions. When the worker went and asked his manager a question, the manager started yelling at him so that I could hear. "There's only 3 chicken breasts!" Employees like this is the reason why workers are getting replaced with robots. People go to restaurants because they're hungry. It's one of the great enjoyments of our day. It's not hard to make it a good experience. Maybe they are overwhelmed? Untrained? Maybe the employees just don't care? I really hope whoever has an investment in this business does something about the staff. I would be embarrassed and humiliated telling anyone that was my business.

  This place just opened up by our house so we figured we'd try it for lunch today. The drive through was not the fastest but i honestly prefer it that way, our food was fresh, delicious, and the cashier was super sweet! We ordered two tostadas, some value tacos, and a 2pc plate. The portions are great, the tostadas held up and were even crunchy on the bottom after eating everything! Everything else was awesome too, the value tacos were the perfect size for the kiddos. Thank you to the staff that made our lunch today, you guys rock!

  To have just open the is a 10 out of 10!!! I was not expecting to get TOP TIER SERVICE!!! The food was HOT and to perfection. The staff was HAPPY, SMILING, KIND, and FRIENDLY!! Zamaya, Nakiah, and Precious will keep me and my family coming back. They didn’t miss a beat and made sure we were happy and had coupons. We will be back NEXT WEEK!! Thank you for hiring such an amazing staff…we will continue to come back as long as you keep a great staff and great clean environment with GREAT FOOD!!!
