I’ve been to this restaurant before and never had an experience like this—but this visit was incredibly frustrating.
When we arrived, we were quoted about an hour and a half wait, which was fine—we appreciated the communication. What wasn’t fine was watching multiple groups who arrived after us get seated before we did. That immediately set the tone.
After finally being seated, we waited another 20 minutes just to be greeted by our waiter. Things started off okay, but then we were switched to a different waitress, and everything went downhill from there. Drinks took forever, and when she finally brought them out, she dropped them. Then we had to wait again, only for two drinks to still be missing.
The delays didn’t stop there—soup, salad, and our appetizer all took an unusually long time to come out. The only bright spot of the night was the chef, who did a great job and delivered good food.
What really pushed this experience over the edge was the billing. The waitress grouped us together as a large party, even though we were clearly three separate families who didn’t know each other. It felt like an intentional move to increase the tip. I understand trying to fill tables, but assuming we’re all together for financial gain is completely unacceptable.
We’ve dined here before, even at full tables, and have never been charged a large party gratuity like this. That was extremely disappointing and honestly left a bad taste after what was already a rough experience.
